Dale Miles is a nationally recognised sculptor who has been working with clay for more than 30 years.
He graduated from the National Art School with a Fine Arts Honours degree in Sculpture in 2006.
Since then he has held many solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia.
He is known for his often large-scale optical sculptures that push the boundaries of the material limits and that play with the viewer’s sense of visual perception by subtly manipulating the perspectives of each work.
In 2016 he won the major prize at Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe, he also won the Helen Lempriere Travelling Scholarship in 2015 and received the Cite International Artist Residence Paris in 2012.
He is represented by Australian Galleries in Sydney and Melbourne.
