Ceramist and potter, Hervé Rousseau (born 1955) has been based in Boisbelle, Cher, France since 1981, there he fires his work in a large, three chambered wood fired kiln.
Regularly exhibited around the world, his work is featured in numerous major collections, including : Musée National de la Céramique (Sèvres) ; Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Paris) ; Pinakothek der Moderne (München); the FLICAM (Fuping, China).
In 2015, a book of his work was published by Ateliers d’arts de France in conjunction with a solo exhibition at La Piscine (Roubaix).
