Emeritus Fellow, Australian National University (2013-2018) currently Honorary Faculty), Janet DeBoos was previously ANU Head of Ceramics (1998-2014), Head of Ceramics at East Sydney Tech (now NAS) for four years and ran a production pottery (Brindabella Pottery) for almost twenty years.
She was a Council Member, International Academy of Ceramics, (Australasian and African representative 2012-2020) and has been a member of the Academy since 2003.
DeBoos is also a Professional Accredited Member of the ACT Craft& Design, Honorary Life Member of The Australian Ceramic Association, Honorary Life Member of Canberra Potters Society, and an artist member of the National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA).
