This article shares the process and findings of a master’s thesis with the same title conducted at the Department of Ceramic and Glass Design, Institute of Fine Arts, Dokuz Eylül University. I aimed to combine in-mold glaze and slip applications with a single firing method to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and introduce aesthetic innovation in ceramic production. By merging the traditionally separate processes of bisque firing and glazing into a single stage, energy and labor costs have been reduced, and process efficiency has been improved. This method also aims to contribute to environmental sustainability by decreasing energy consumption during the firing process.
