Shida Kuo “Work 1993-2023” at Nunu Fine Art, New York
This exhibition presented Shida Kuo’s ceramic floor and wall sculptures, along with two groups of prints, with an elegant spaciousness that gave each piece respect. In the graceful and balanced installation, it was easy to get lost in the subtleties of an individual piece, yet also easy to take a longer view and look at a family relationship wamong the works despite the three-decade time span of their making.
