WHAT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
During Clay Gulgong 2026 there are a lot of venues in town that are open to the public.
The pottery ThrowDownUnder, hosted by Keith Brymer Jones will take place in the beer garden of the Centennial Hotel starting Sunday 12th until Thursday 16th. Challenges are set at 9am each day and judging later in the afternoon.
There are also several exhibitions at the following venues:
– Gulgong Pioneers Museum: The Masters Show, Clay’scool, Women Who Woodfire, and World Stage & Emerging Exhibition – (there is an entry fee to enter the museum)
– The Cube on Mayne: Firestarters Woodfirers Exhibition
– Holtermann Museum: K-12 exhibition
– Venue TBC: The Matchbox Show
– CWA Hall: Delegates Exhibition (a market stall, where you can purchase handmade ceramics for sale by contacting the artist)
The SHOP FRONT TRAIL is a major highlight for festival delegates and the general public. A huge number of shops throughout the town are participating this year and will feature ceramic displays of work for sale in their shopfront windows. You Will need to contact the artist to make a purchase.
Please note that the Master Demonstrations at Red Hill and Presentations at the Memorial Hall are not open to the public. Entry to these venues require a full week pass ($770). We DO NOT offer day passes.
