Getting There

The cleanest way to travel to Clay Gulgong is by public transport, and in recent years we have seen a growth in festivalgoers travelling by coach, train, or other modes of transport – last time one person rode a bike! We’d encourage you to join them and reduce your carbon footprint.

If arriving by public transport is not an option, please fill all seats in your car and make the most of your mileage. This will go a long way toward protecting our environment, reducing carbon emissions, and lowering travel costs. Using our social media platforms to seek or advertise car sharing is hugely welcome.

If you are driving to the festival, you’ll need to make sure you find parking that does not obstruct any access points for residents. If you are unsure about the legality of your parking space, we encourage you to place a note on your vehicle with your phone number so residents can contact you if necessary.

If you’re planning on travelling to the festival in an electric vehicle, make sure you have sufficient charge for your return trip; however, if you do need to juice up, check out Gulgong Herbert Street Council Carpark | Gulgong, NSW | EV Station
