Clay Gulgong 2026 proudly introduces The Merran Esson Teachers Prize
Merron Esson dedicated 20 years of her life as a full time lecturer and Head of Ceramics at the National Art School in Sydney. Prior to joining NAS she was a revered and accomplished high school ceramics teacher.
In no more than 200 words you are invited to nominate one person to receive this inaugural prize acknowledging excellence in ceramics education.
A review panel has been formed to read all nominations and the recipient of the prize ($1,000) will be announced at Clay Gulgong in April and presented by Kirsty Esson.
