Morning View Arts
Mansfield Ceramics is delighted to be extending our projects to include Morning View, our historical property in Gulgong. Artists are invited to apply to live and work at the property for a period of six weeks.Morning View has an extensive cultural history that is appreciated around the world.
Launching artists and writers residency and workshop programs is a long-held ambition we are genuinely pleased to realise.
The 2,000-acre property has established working spaces, woodfired kilns, studio spaces, a comprehensive library, a lecture hall, a private collection of international ceramics without peer, a sculpture trail – and enough space to provide the calm, tranquility, and inspiration to propel your next body of work or ignite your learning from one of our invited masters/workshop leaders.
If you are interested in this long-awaited opportunity to study and/or work at Morning View Arts Centre please submit your EOI. We look forward to welcoming you (and sharing with you) the incredible place that is Morning View. We are establishing the residency program so that the dynamic spirit of Clay Gulgong can be kept alive, and continually enhanced, in the years between the biennial event. Over the coming months we will announce further details through our website and Ceramics Art + Perception magazine.
Applications are welcome from artists interested in working in the following fields: Ceramics, Sculpture , Printmaking, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Writing and Theatre.
